Version Info: This is the ARF+ version for pilots who wish to install their own power system. All primary electronics including servos and landing gear retracts come pre-installed, just add your own power system (EDF, motor, and ESC) to begin flying.

The Freewing Eurofighter Typhoon 90mm EDF Jet V2 ARF Plus is the builder’s version of the acclaimed 2023 Freewing Eurofighter platform — the complete airframe with all primary electronics pre-installed, ready for pilots who want to specify their own 90mm EDF power system. Servos, landing gear, lights, and the functioning scale airbrake all come pre-installed; simply add your preferred EDF power system and ESC to bring the Typhoon to life on your own terms.
The V2 release introduces quick-disconnect wings for faster, tool-free assembly and breakdown at the field, along with formation lights integrated into the existing scale LED package for enhanced visual presence during flight. The center of gravity range has been extended to allow a more aft CG setting, with CG reference marks now located on the wing for faster, easier field setup. The V2 also debuts an all-new livery: the striking XI(F) Squadron RAF 100th Anniversary scheme of ZJ925, with a medium grey airframe, black spine and a dramatic black tail bearing the DXI eagle.
All the hallmarks of the 2023 Freewing Eurofighter carry forward into the V2: scale CNC shock-absorbing landing gear with painted struts, sequenced gear doors, a functioning linear-actuated airbrake, spring-loaded auxiliary air inlets, and a scale weapon set with ten pylons. Requires:
- 90mm EDF power system: 90mm EDF unit, brushless inrunner motor, and 120A+ ESC (required)
- 7 Channel radio – select a minimum 7 channel radio from our Aircraft Radio Collection
- 7 Channel receiver – select a minimum 7 channel receiver from our Aircraft Receiver Collection
- Battery appropriate to your chosen power system — typically 6 Cell 22.2V or 8S 29.6V with EC5 connector
- Compatible battery charger — select a charger appropriate to your chosen battery from our Charger Collection
Power System and Electronics Compatibility:
This model is designed to operate using the included ESC and its integrated BEC, which is specifically matched to the onboard electronics. To ensure reliable performance and prevent damage, always power the aircraft’s receiver and electronics through the installed ESC using the main flight battery. Do not use any power source other than the main flight battery to power the model, otherwise damage will occur to the electronics.
The receiver, servos, and other onboard electronics included with this model are rated for a maximum input voltage of 5.5V. When selecting your ESC and power system, verify that the BEC output supplied to the receiver and onboard electronics does not exceed 5.5V. Using a higher voltage will damage the aircraft’s electronics.
